Li-ion Motors' research and development engineers critically analyzed all factors that affect the total mileage of the electric vehicle powered by lithium ion polymer batteries.

Using 29.6 kWh of lithium ion battery energy and the same urban and highway route, the cutting edge research team of Li-ion Motors closely working with Superlattice Power Inc., USA, achieved an increase in mileage from 120 miles to 211 miles. The cell voltage range was from 4.2V to 3.3V and driving tests are performed on roads and highways with real traffic situations using experienced drivers.

The development work emphasized on electrical regenerative power, modification of charging algorithm and cell voltage balancing using new version of battery management system.
