Hybrid’s 2008 Open House was attended by over 150 inquisitive guests where test drives were conducted by the company’s latest in all-electric, lithium powered vehicles. State politicians, shareholders, media and the public alike were pleased with the company’s progress, breadth of product lines and the vehicles’ performance.
Mr. Pat Smathers, running for North Carolina’s Lt. Governor, took the wheel of Hybrid’s LiV™ FLASH where he was quite impressed with the handling power of the electric version of the Mini-Cooper. Diane Hamby, running for US Congress 5th District, eagerly experienced the high-power of Hybrid’s LiV™ RUSH sportscar.
Li-ion Motors shareholder, Alan White, was confident of the future of the company’s electric cars stating, “Electric vehicles are taking off now. We just need more people to realize the current availability.”
